BAZELET HAGOLAN WINERY

Strategically located in Moshav Kidmat Zvi in the Golan Heights, Bazelat Hogolan Winery boasts a terroir that is the envy of quality wine makers: volcanic basalt soil (in honour of which the winery is named), high altitude and temperate climate. Built from the ground up by founder, owner and winemaker Yoav Levy, Bazelat Hogolan Winery has quickly produced a world-class reputation that showcases the precise reason why Israel offers some of the world’s most desirable soil, altitude and weather for wine production.
The first boutique winery in the Golan Heights, Bazelat Hogolan Winery was born in 1998 out of a heartfelt passion for the land and a dedication to a soulful craft of wine-making. Yoav’s wines are both whimsical and technical, and the 70,000 bottles produced annually follow the fastidious standards of the science of modern winemaking, infused with the artistic dedication to an unparalleled level of quality that can only be derived from the heart. International recognition has been given to the winery from renowned sources such as Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Concorso Internazionale Emozioni dal Mondo, Finger Lakes International Wine Competition and IWAC.
