The Flam winery was born out of a multi-generational passion for internationally renowned wines and becoming a leader in the Israeli wine industry to showcase Israel’s abilities to produce exceptional wines that exceed even the highest global standards, recognized by prestigious awards such as the Decanter World Wine Awards, among others. The founders, Golan and Giliad Flam, along with their mother Kami, established Flam Winery in 1998, building upon the dedication of their father, Israel, to cultivate his country’s potential for producing outstanding wine. Israel Flam is known as one of Israel’s leading wine industry pioneers, and the family has been producing wine for over 50 years, far before Israel became well known for its cultivation of world-class wines.

 

Modeled after a classic European Family Estate, Flam winery is situated at the heart of the Judean Hills surrounding Jerusalem, between the Kisalon River and the Kdoshim forest. This is a family that lives and breathes wine—even Golan and Giliad’s younger sister Gefen recently joined the Flam Winery to add a youthful, innovative approach that helps blend the old world with the new.
